MINISTRY PROGRAMS

to help out brethren in times of need...

to heal the brokenhearted...

to draw individuals into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...

LACA is a non-profit, ministry school that has been operating for 16 years in Baliuag, Bulacan, Philippines. It has been established to ensure that the underprivileged gain access to quality education, enabling students coming from marginalized families to graduate as “Matalino na, mabait pa.”

It also aims to provide Biblical-based ways to alleviate individuals from their past,  present, or imminent struggle – emotionally, psychologically, physically, economically.  These ways may be formal or informal approaches which include, but not limited to, the following:

MINISTRY CIRCLES (for students)

This is conducted after every examination. It features theatrical, Biblical presentations that depict Christian values and discuss relevant information/lessons among students across all levels. It is a program that aims to enrich the students’ spiritual perspectives, as we nurture them to become faithful servants of the Lord.

HOMEROOM DEVOTION (for students)

Before the formal class starts, for twenty (20) minutes daily, each Adviser conducts a short discussion of a Bible principle which aid in the values-formation of the students. This happens in every classroom in the morning and/or afternoon, depending on the class schedule.

SOAKING (for employees)

Done once a month, all employees gather in a hall wherein the School Head, or an invited speaker, talks on a topic which is Bible-based through video showing, followed by an interactive discussion of the message in focus.  This activity lasts for 2-3 hours, done after examination day.

INNER HEALING (for employees)

This mentoring/training of employees is conducted yearly using the Elijah House modality. For 5 days, facilitators guide the participants to understand the different modules which tackle certain life principles. Taking these with a Bible-based perspective, the sessions lead the individual to fully experience the power, unconditional love, and healing of God in his/her inner parts that may have been damaged by past experiences, which influence what he/she is today.

HALF-WAY HOUSE (for employees)

Once a year, during summer, new hirees (teaching and non-teaching) undergo a 3-day seclusion doing activities, with vital emphasis on the spiritual aspect of each participant. It aims to lead the individual to the knowledge of God's saving grace, to establish the faith in Him, and nurture it. Invited pastors act as facilitators, aside from the school's team.

PARENTING SEMINAR (for parents in the community)

The care and concern of the LACA Family does not end inside the classroom or school.  Developing good parenting skill is a basic step towards transformation.  The school continues to provide opportunities to uplift family management competence through similar activities.

MORNING DEVOTION (for employees)

The counterpart of the Homeroom devotion among students, a daily 20-minute reading, discussion, sharing of Bible-based ideas is done by all employees before assuming their respective posts.  A 'process question' is posed for reflection to inculcate God's message.
