CLUBS and ORGANIZATIONS

Central Board Students

 

 

The Central Board of Students (CBS) shall be the official student government of the Living Angels Christian Academy. It shall be the counterpart, and shall abide by the framework, of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) as mandated by the Department of Education. The CBS shall emulate the ideals of the school vision by being role models in the pursuit of social transformation through the students’ development of a relationship with God.

 

 

The Angels Trumpet

 

 

The Angel’s Trumpet shall be the official student publication of the Living Angels Christian Academy. It shall espouse the principles of responsible and compassionate campus journalism. It shall also be an instrument in spreading the Word of God to students and their families.

 

 

The Performing Arts Club

 

The Performing Arts Club shall be a proponent of Kingdom Building inside the school. It shall also support co-curricular and extra-curricular activities by providing meaningful performances that shall be an avenue for skills and values development of students.

 

Math Club

 

  • To strengthen academic interest in the field of Mathematics and allied subjects

  • To serve as an arena for mathematical discussions, as well as provide a forum for exchange of mathematical ideas

  • To develop leadership, cooperation, teamwork through participation in intramurals and inter-school activities pertaining to Math subject

  • To stimulate excitement about Mathematics in a friendly, collaborative environment.

  • To promote a culture of service, support, and scaffolding from among club members to students struggling in Math.

 

English Club

 

  • To develop skills in communication arts, using English as the medium

  • To provide enjoyable learning avenues for students for more appreciation of the English language

  • To encourage artistic and literary expression, honed by reading and discussing literary pieces, stories, poetry from Proverbs & Psalms, and other relevant literature.

  • To provide opportunities to students to develop their leadership skills, and apply the virtues of service and brotherhood.

  • To be the proponent of the English Only Policy (EOP) of the school.

 

Science Club

 

  • To encourage scientific thinking as can be applied to everyday life

  • To discover special talents and potentials of students through science activities

  • To promote awareness of current local and global issues which affect life, and critically evaluate them

  • To build camaraderie among students through conduct of experiments and other hands-on activities.

  • To provide opportunities for discoveries and inventions.

 

Samahan ng mga Guro at Mag-aaral sa Filipino (Filipino Club)

 

  • Upang mapalawak ang paghinang ng kakayahan ng mag-aaral sa larangan ng komunikasyon, sa wikang Filipino

  • Upang matulungan ang mag-aaral na pagyamanin at maipamalas ang kanilang dunong at talent, sa malikhaing pagsusulat at pagbuo ng akda gaya ng tula, kuwento at iba pa.

  • Upang mabigyan ng bagong hugis at kulay ang kulturang Pilipino, sa pamamagitan ng talakayan at bahaginan ng pananaw

  • Upang mabuo ang pangkat ng mag-aaral na may interes sa asignaturang Filipino, mahubog ang kanilang katauhan sa magandang kaugalian, ayon sa turo ng Panginoon.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

 

TLE CLUB (Technology and Livelihood Education)

 

  • To stimulate interest in Technology and Livelihood Education

  • To provide an avenue to express creativity and innovation, applying the principle of economy

  • To enhance knowledge and skills in preparing high-quality goods/products, which can give livelihood to students and their families

  • To develop camaraderie among its members through projects and hands-on activities

 

 

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

 

  • Be the official arm of Angel’s Trumpet in photo journalism and build an archive of photos for web gallery and marketing advocacies;

  • Use photographs and videos as tools to showcase the wonders of God’s creation, spread gospel and inspire people;

  • Teach basic skills and knowledge in photography and video making;                                                             

  • Enhance creativity and develop innovations in handling cameras;

  • Have an official group of righteous student photographers for all school occasions.

 

 

SPORTS CLUB (Not Limited to Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton)

 

 

  • To develop strong bodies, sound judgment, and self-discipline through engaging in sports activities

  • To indulge students into sports, thereby channeling energy to useful activities

  • To become a responsible officers and members of the club;

  • To provide awareness and disseminate information in giving health services to the LACA Community;

  • To develop the values of helping and serving others in their own simple ways;

  • To provide health counselling and education for students, staff, and parents;

  • To promote a healthful and safe school environment.
